We are not an emergency service so if you are confronted by a serious problem such as severe chest pain or bleeding call an ambulance (dial 999 or 112 from a mobile phone) before phoning the surgery.If you are not sure of the best course of action you can telephone the surgery where the receptionist will advise you after consulting the doctor if appropriate. If you need a doctor outside surgery times please ring the surgery on 01704 534137 or 531114 and listen to the recorded message which will give you the contact telephone numbers. The out-of-hours centre is open from 6.30pm - 8.00am from Monday to Thursday and from 6.30pm Friday to 8.00am Monday. They also provide bank holiday cover. The centre is situated at Southport and Formby District Hospital, Town Lane, Kew, Southport and can be contacted on 0845 070 4422. NHS Direct
